Editor's note: The chips are falling fast for Invact Metaversity, the edtech company that launched just in December and promised a “metaMBA” in a virtual reality college. On Thursday, we reported that its first course, which was supposed to go live on 12 May with a cohort of 60 students, was cancelled amid disagreements between the founders—former Twitter India head Manish Maheshwari and former Microsoft engineer Tanay Pratap.  But it now seems that the startup is on the verge of collapse. In a letter written to investors late last week, Pratap has claimed “irreconcilable differences” with Maheshwari have left the company in a state of complete chaos. The Morning Context has seen a copy of the letter that lays out the reasons behind the dispute between the founders and how they even discussed winding up the business altogether. The two founders seem to have disagreed on almost everything. According to Pratap’s letter, he and Maheshwari had “a disagreement on Invact’s long-term vision, as well as short-term tactical approach to day to day operations across hiring, marketing, relative work split and more” and …
