Earlier this week, Karan Bajaj announced that he has started Complement 1, a healthtech startup focused on integrating personalized lifestyle modifications into cancer care.
“Every oncologist will tell you patients need more support incorporating clinically recommended physical activity, nutrition, and mind-body practices,” said Bajaj, the founder and CEO of the business in a release. “We've cracked the code on daily engagement with personalized, compassionate coaching—helping patients make meaningful, lasting improvements during and beyond treatment.”
The startup has already raised $16 million in a seed funding round led by two venture capital firms—Owl Ventures and Blume Ventures.
