Ex-employees send legal notices to Camp K12
Over 10 former employees are seeking legal recourse against the edtech startup, citing wrongful termination and non-payment of dues.

Editor's note: More than 10 former employees have sent legal notices to edtech startup Camp K12, alleging wrongful termination and demanding salary dues, according to a former employee, who asked not to be named. The Morning Context has seen copies of three such notices. These employees were laid off by the California-headquartered and Gurugram-operated company in January when it ran out of money. The notices were sent in the first two weeks of this month with a 15-day deadline. So far, there has been no official reply from the company or its founders. If the dues don’t land, the employees are planning to move the Gurugram district court. Queries sent to the company remain unanswered. This news brief will be updated as and when it responds. In January, we had written about Camp K12 hitting pause on new businesses and laying off 70% of its workforce, or 70-80 employees. The company had decided to only service the existing customers.
