Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced that it will be ceasing its Abu Dhabi operations, after six years of operations in the region, according to a statement on X. The airline will focus on Europe and its core markets, which it says has been more profitable.
In the statement, Wizz Air CEO Jozsef Varadi said "supply chain constraints, geopolitical instability, and limited market access have made it increasingly difficult to sustain our original ambitions".
