TWG Global, the investment firm led by American billionaires Mark Walter and Thomas Tull, has entered a multi-billion-dollar partnership with Mubadala Capital, the asset management arm of Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company.
According to a statement on Wednesday, TWG will invest $2.5 billion into Mubadala Capital and acquire a minority stake in the firm. Mubadala, meanwhile, will lead a $10 billion syndicated investment into TWG, as part of the American firm's $15 billion equity raise. The statement also adds that there are plans to potentially increase joint commitments by up to $20 billion over time.
